What you will do in this role

As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will excel in two main areas:

1. Technical knowledge: Serve as the technical liaison for our partners, helping remove technical blockers. You will recommend integration and migration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required for successful Google Cloud implementations. You will own the technical relationship with our partners, enabling them to execute successful pilots or proofs of concept.
2. Client management skills: Represent Google Cloud, engaging with clients to offer optimal solutions. Collaborate with partners during migration to ensure they have all necessary tools for successful deployment, guiding them towards customer acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to a commercial agreement.

Your qualifications

• Have a proficient or bilingual level of German and professional English skills
• Have experience as a Technical Engineer in Cloud Computing or equivalent customer-facing role
• Possess knowledge of cloud concepts like Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS (plus)
• Have experience delivering technical presentations
• Possess strong channel management skills (plus)

It is a plus if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Google Cloud Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Associate Cloud Engineer)
• Experience with data management, big data trends, and business challenges
• Database management experience
• Networking knowledge (routing, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls)
• Experience designing and developing scalable distributed systems
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
