Technical Senior Business Analyst - Flight Operations

About This Role

Join our crew management implementation team to analyze complex business problems within the aviation flight crew domain, utilizing automated systems across various functions and business areas. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Installing software, conducting data migration, and setting up integrations.
  2. Creating business plans and supporting documents, including business cases, to align with company goals and technical programs.
  3. Working on high-value projects with significant customer impact, operating independently with minimal oversight.
  4. Solving complex business problems across multiple systems and functional domains, especially on high-profile or mission-critical projects.
  5. Providing strategic direction and planning for current and future business environments, including technology and business design changes.
  6. Offering functional and technical assistance in developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
  7. Serving as a liaison between developers, architects, designers, and both internal and external customers.
  8. Supporting development teams with functionality questions, testing, training, and deployment planning.
  9. Guiding less experienced analysts in their roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for experience in crew planning, scheduling, tracking, and crew rules.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++.
  • Experience in automation, including scripting and macros (e.g., VBA).
  • Experience in installing and configuring enterprise applications on AWS.
  • Database experience with Oracle or MongoDB, and SQL/PL SQL querying skills.
  • Knowledge of integration techniques such as SOAP, XML, JSON, Postman.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (macros a plus) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in crew management systems in the airline industry is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of client-server architectures and legacy system integration.
  • Domain expertise in airline crew scheduling or flight operations preferred.
