Formación

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en ventas de dispositivos eléctricos industriales.
  • Conocimientos en el mercado de carretillas elevadoras o baterías es un plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Gestiona el proceso completo de ventas, incluyendo promoción y venta de productos.
  • Colabora con el departamento de Servicio para resolver problemas técnicos.

The Technical Sales Representative will grow the sales in the Catalonia region, promoting the company products and advising Clients with the best company products mix. This will be accomplished with already existing Clients but also with new Clients detected in the target market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manages the complete sales process, including consulting, promotion, and sale of products and services, supporting customers in the pre-sales phase, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a relationship of trust in the after-sales phase.
  2. Focuses on the research and analysis of leads in cooperation with the local team and on the retention of already acquired customers, keeping in mind the assigned objectives, both individual and corporate.
  3. Regularly plans a visit calendar, aligning company strategies and needs with those of the customer. Prepares up-to-date reports with market information, business opportunities, and work history, which are shared with the Sales Manager.
  4. Manages certain end customers and forklift dealers within the assigned sales area, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
  5. Personally follows the customer from product presentation through to the development of the commercial proposal. Promotes ongoing product and system updates and participates in training activities. Stays informed about the subsequent order flow, as well as production and delivery issues.
  6. Interacts directly with Inside Sales by forwarding orders and issuing technical/commercial instructions, up to the authorization of order placement. Communicates to Inside Sales the provisions for preparing offers to customers, including the drafting of commercial conditions or the creation of dedicated price lists and offers.
  7. Applies the company Sales Policies as issued by the Manager.
  8. Collaborates and coordinates with the Service department on interventions and actions required to resolve various technical issues raised by customers. As an expert in batteries, provides technical advice to clients.
  9. Verifies and follows up on customer payment reliability, as recommended by the Credit Office.
  10. Competently uses specific sales programs (e.g., Salesforce).
  11. Travel within the Catalonia region, and occasionally elsewhere in Spain or abroad, is required. Overnight stays away from home may also be necessary.

Qualifications

  1. Professional Formation or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in industrial electrical or electronics. Native Spanish and very good level of English. It will be positively valued, Catalan.
  2. Level of experience desired more than 5 years dealing with sales of industrial electrical devices, batteries, UPS’s or similar. Knowing the forklift market or the batteries market is a plus.
  3. Knowledge of Office 365 and knowledge of Salesforce will be positively valued.
  4. Driver's license up to date.
