We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Technical Sales Manager (Iberia) with a focus on the Bakery industry (or related) in Spain! We are looking for an individual with both technical and commercial experience and ideally product development experience in the bakery industry. This role involves the sale of value-added functional ingredients and encompasses a range of responsibilities from market prospecting for new clients to growing existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Prospecting:Identify and develop new business opportunities within the bakery sector, with a focus on food protection and bakery.

  • Account Management:Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

  • Sales Strategy:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets and drive business growth.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration:Work closely with other departments, including R&D, marketing, and Product managers to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Autonomous Management:Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing your own schedule and priorities to meet business objectives.

  • Customer Support:Provide exceptional support to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Your Qualifications:

  • University degree in Food Science, Food Tech or Chemistry (or other relevant technical education)

  • Proven experience in sales or other customer facing role, preferably within the bakery sector.

  • Strong technical understanding of functional ingredients and their applications.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
