The Technical Sales Manager will work closely with Sales Managers in the regions, Global Key Account Managers, Marketing and R&D functions to better penetrate key customers, to further build on Elementis’ brand image and to drive new sales opportunities and long-term success. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive unparalleled technical support, driving product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of product formulation in the personal care sector. Understanding of industry-specific regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Leadership: Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and vision to align technical efforts with company goals. Mentorship capabilities to support the development of team members.
Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing and sales. Collaborative approach to problem-solving and project execution.
Customer focus: Ability to provide technical support and resolve customer issues. Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality products and services.
Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience in project planning and execution from concept to completion.
Innovation and continuous improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the personal care industry.
IT Skills: Advanced computer software capabilities like MS Office.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, any other European language is a plus, i.e., French, Spanish, German or Italian.
Working arrangements: Home office based.
