Job summary

Nordex Group in Madrid seeks a Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to bridge electrical engineering with customer-facing technical sales in a global environment. You will act as the technical interface between Global Engineering, Product Management, Sales and customers, translating complex topics into compelling wind-energy value propositions.

You will support regional sales teams, develop customer-specific solutions, contribute to bids and proposals, and deliver training and technical materials.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Several years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or technical customer support in renewable energy or industrial sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical interface between Global Engineering, Product Management, Sales and customers with focus on electrical systems, grid requirements and wind turbine technology.
• Support regional sales teams by providing technical expertise, developing customer-specific solutions, and contributing to bids and technical proposals.
• Support technical discussions, customer workshops, and complex negotiations with customers, consultants, utilities, and project developers.
• Serve as the global expert for electrical engineering, power systems, grid integration, and renewable energy applications in wind energy projects.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical and commercial recommendations creating value for customers and the business.
• Deliver technical training, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and sales support materials to internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather and communicate market, customer, and competitor feedback to support product development and improve sales engineering standards.
