Nordex SE in Madrid is seeking an Engineer Geometrical System Integration to drive mechanical design for wind turbine modules (Blade, Hub, Nacelle). The role requires CAD/PLM proficiency, robust experience with large assemblies, and strong collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.

You will model space allocation, participate in design reviews, and ensure modular, cost-efficient layouts across projects. English fluency is required; Spanish/German a plus.

Formación

• Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of professional experience.
• Strong CAD and PLM skills, Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred.
• Experience handling large assemblies.
• Experience in configuration management and modularisation.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Define space allocation models for components and perform geometrical integration of systems in the wind turbine layout.
• Prepare and moderate design reviews in collaboration with other Nordex departments and external suppliers.
• Create the layout design considering geometrical requirements from Product Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Service and HSE.
• Identify synergies across projects and products to increase reuse of parts and reduce complexity and cost.
• Determine the scope of new design based on Engineering Change Request.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Engineer Geometrical System Integration. Within the Design and Integration team in TIE, they will be a key driver in the mechanical design for the modules Blade, Hub and Nacelle. Amongst others, you will perform the following tasks:

YOUR TASKS:

• Define space allocation models for components and perform the geometrical integration of systems in the wind turbine layout
• Prepare and moderate design reviews in collaboration with other departments inside Nordex and external suppliers
• Create the layout design considering geometrical requirements coming from Product Management, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Service and HSE
• Identify synergies across projects and products to increase reuse of parts and decrease complexity and cost
• Determine the scope of new design based on Engineering Change Request

YOUR PROFILE:

• Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering*
• 5 years of professional experience
• Deep knowledge in CAD and PLM tools, Siemens NX/Teamcenter preferred
• Comfortable in handling large assemblies
• Experience in the field of configuration management and modularisation

Self-motivated and results-focused, with the ability to connect people, drive collaboration, and achieve objectives on time.

• Fluent English language skills required. Fluent Spanish/German will be a plus
