Job Description

We are one of the world's largest independent electronic component distributors, operating with a hybrid distribution model. We have recently launched Nuvonix by Rebound, a new franchise distribution service. Our focus is on emerging brands and manufacturers, offering many opportunities for career growth. Our goal is to generate technical sales, leads, and revenue.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Semiconductor Franchised Division as part of our global growth strategy. We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer to promote our franchise brands, emphasizing technical capability, cost reduction, and supply chain risk management. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will engage with new and existing customers to secure high-value, design-led projects across our franchise distribution brands in the region.

The role involves working with a diverse range of customers to understand their new product design prospects, development roadmaps, and existing project opportunities. Collaborating with the Rebound commercial, technical, operations, and product teams, your aim will be to promote and sell our partner semiconductor, discrete, passive, and other products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth within the franchise business for key customers to meet sales and margin targets in the assigned region.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers to achieve business goals and execute plans among customers, franchise brands, and the company.
  • Engage with customer engineering and component teams, utilizing sales and technical skills to specify, design, and generate demand for franchise products.
  • Create new customer accounts by identifying leads, planning sales activities, building relationships, preparing quotations, and managing the sales process from design to order fulfillment.
  • Understand market challenges and trends to recommend suitable products, technologies, and services.
  • Present technical and commercial proposals effectively to customers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Rebound Franchise and customers.
  • Perform any other assigned duties.
Prerequisites and Skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics.
  • Knowledge of electronic components technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic selling approach and business acumen.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, flexible, energetic, and eager to learn.
