Formación

  • Technical/Engineer degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, French is a plus.

Technical Sales Egineer

Focus in Power conversion and energy storage applications.

(Hybrid – Madrid / Remote – Barcelona or Basque Country)

As a Technical Sales Engineer professional, you will join our Spain-based sales team at Richardson RFPD. Your mission will be to provide expert technical guidance to our partners and customers, identify the right solutions for their needs, and secure new sales opportunities. You will collaborate with vendor brands, internal teams, and assigned Arrow/Richardson partners.

This position focuses on managing and developing client accounts and nurturing long-term relationships that align with our strategic business objectives.

This role is open to:

  • Remote work from Madrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
  • Fully remote from Barcelona or the Basque Country

What will you be doing?

  • Your primary responsibility will be to become a consultant to the customer, providing support throughout the project lifetime, from the concept phase to the production stage.
  • Demand Creation: support of the sales team activities by running product presentations and sharing technical know-how.
  • Account Management: ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, promoting Richardson RFPD Service offerings incorporating in-depth knowledge of Richardson’s key Technology Partners. Develop an understanding of customers’ needs and how to translate those needs to Richardson’s requirements or opportunities.
  • Be visible on sight – the role will require customer visits within Spain, Portugal and South France

What are we looking for:

  • Technical/Engineer degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (as a must)
  • French is a strong plus! (nice to have)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for technology
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and grow
