Job description

We are looking for a passionate Technical Project Manager with a focus on healthcare innovation and specialization in software medical devices, eager to drive innovation in digital health.

This pivotal role involves leading the development and implementation of transformative healthcare technology projects from conception to delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between commercial and technical teams, translating customer needs into actionable specifications, ensuring our solutions meet high standards required by our health sector partners and patients, while adhering to budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

A significant part of your responsibilities will include ensuring clients understand the technical processes and integration of our product into their systems via APIs, emphasizing the importance of technical expertise combined with regulatory knowledge for seamless software integration.

• Note on collaboration and roles: You will work alongside a Deal Owner, who manages the commercial relationship, and a Customer Success Manager, responsible for post-sale engagement and support.
  
  

This setup allows you to focus on implementation, delivery, execution, and providing technical and regulatory advisory to the customer—without managing the client relationship end-to-end.

What you need to achieve

• Project planning and execution: Develop and track detailed project plans, manage scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring successful execution within constraints.
• Daily customer interaction: Guide clients through technical processes, ensuring understanding of functionality and integration via APIs.
• Team liaison: Act as the link between commercial and product teams, translating customer needs into technical specifications.
• Technical and regulatory advisory: Support customers with technical integration, regulatory compliance, and data protection issues.
• Functional and technical requirements analysis: Assess project needs to align with product objectives and customer expectations.
• Healthcare processes overview: Provide a comprehensive view of healthcare workflows to aid solution development.
• Development specifications and documentation: Define requirements and ensure complete product documentation.
• Product strategy: Contribute to defining and refining product strategy to ensure market relevance and success.

Must have

• Proven experience in project management, especially in software medical device development within health, biotech, or digital health sectors.
• Specific knowledge of AI applications in health and experience in dermatology or related fields.
• Technical proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of medical device regulation and compliance frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of data protection laws like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Knowledge of healthcare management systems (HIS/EHR/EMR, RIS, LIS, PACS, ERP) and standards like FHIR and HL7v2.
• Deep understanding of the health industry, including B2B dynamics and regulations for medical software.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
• Effective leadership experience in managing multifunctional teams.
• Degree in Business Administration, Health Management, Biotechnology, or related fields.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly valued.
