Job purpose :

The Technical Project Manager is the solution specialist responsible for ensuring solutions are technically and functionally ‘fit for purpose’, designed, tested, and delivered according to the agreed timelines and Project Framework / Methodology. They act as the solution owner throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions. The role involves contributing to departmental objectives, best practices, and process improvements, and participating in training and onboarding activities. The ideal candidate is recognized as a proficient practitioner and/or subject matter expert in a specific solution, product, or industry customer.

• Define, design, implement and coordinate the execution of project/program solutions in line with the Project Framework / Methodology.
• Participate in, and lead requirements and design workshops with international customers and service providers.
• Provide technical consulting on products and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Share knowledge of product features and solutions to meet customer requirements effectively.
• Contribute to and produce project deliverables following the Project Framework / Methodology.
• Support internal testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and end-user training on features and functionalities.
• Review solutions for compliance with standards, strategy, and best practices.
• Monitor scope, cost, and risk of solutions.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and KPIs.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and deliver solutions within the agreed timelines following the Project Framework / Methodology.
• Coordinate implementation, testing, quality assurance, and deployment across multiple environments.
• Manage scope, cost, and risk of the project solution.
• Communicate any scope, cost, risk, or schedule changes to the Project Manager.
• Assess the impact of change requests on scope, cost, risk, and schedule.
• Maintain high-level knowledge of solutions, products, and architecture.
• Contribute to departmental objectives, KPIs, best practices, and process improvements.

Requirements :

• Ability to read and analyze Java or other object-oriented programming code.
• Strong knowledge of technical solutions and SaaS.
• Knowledge of Italian or other EU languages is an advantage.
• Good technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent reviewer and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and techniques.
• Organizational savvy.
