Formación

Position Overview

Eosol Group is looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the design and optimization of electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical designs for large-scale storage and solar + storage projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with other Business Units, technical advisors, and relevant stakeholders to provide project support for development, design, and cost estimation activities.
2. Gather key project technical data such as site structure and electrical drawings and site electricity load data and costs.
3. Review and validate layouts and electrical SLDs.
4. Review basic engineering packages.
5. Contribute to and review technical documents within the RFP for EPC.
6. Control and coordinate the preparation of detailed engineering of construction projects with the support of third parties.
7. Interact with EPC companies during the construction processes to ensure the correct design of the projects.
8. Support financial teams for Technical Due Diligence processes by an Independent Engineer.
9. If required, prepare and submit utility interconnection applications and permits in coordination with Interconnection Engineers.
10. Report all technical aspects and drawings for proposals, contracts, and customer presentations.
11. Visit project sites to assess and document site dimensions and conditions, electrical systems, utility interconnection options, and any other relevant aspects to be monitored.
12. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, and codes.
13. Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases; and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

1. BA / BS degree in Electrical (or similar) Engineering.
2. Master’s degree in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or renewable energies (preferred).
3. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience acting in grid-scale Solar PV and / or Energy Storage projects or a generally related construction development process including project development, design and engineering, and construction of energy generation projects.
4. Experience in Middle East countries is a plus.
5. Project Management skills are a must. PMP certification is a plus.
6. Proficiency in MS Package (especially Excel), Google Suite, and project planning software. AutoCAD and PV SYST is a plus.
7. Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
8. Ability to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies presented day to day.
9. Demonstrated ability to correctly solve complex problems and issues without regular supervision.
10. Good understanding of the technical KPIs of BESS projects with an impact on the business case: degradation, usable energy, energy throughput, DOD...
11. Fluent in English and Spanish.
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
