Technical Project Manager

to join our team in Barcelona, focusing on coordinating efforts and ensuring timely delivery from our Instrument Modelling and Mask Design squads.

Your JobAs a Technical Project Manager, you'll ensure the smooth operation and timely completion of projects within our Instrument Modelling and Mask Design teams. Your responsibilities include organizing workflows, tracking milestones, and maintaining effective communication with hardware teams. Your goal is to drive project execution to meet company milestones and advance our technology efficiently.

Responsibilities include :

Organizing workflows for the Instrument Modelling and Mask Design squads.

Developing and tracking project timelines with an agile mindset, aligned with strategic objectives and milestones.

Implementing and refining project management practices in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Streamlining communication between teams and hardware groups to clarify technical requirements and dependencies.

Identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks to keep projects on schedule and within scope.

Ensuring projects contribute to main milestones, supporting core technology development.

Facilitating technical discussions and decision-making to resolve challenges.

Maintaining comprehensive documentation of plans, progress, and key decisions.

Reporting project status regularly to stakeholders, including the CTO, on progress, risks, and achievements.

Qualifications / ExperienceRequired :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;

PhD preferred.

5+ years of experience in technical project management in complex R&D or high-tech environments.

Experience managing technical teams in physics, modeling, simulation, or software development.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear project plans for diverse audiences.

Experience with risk, stakeholder, and change management.

Proficiency with project management software (Jira, Asana, Monday.Com).

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred :

Experience in semiconductor, optics, quantum technology, or related industries.

Knowledge of advanced physics concepts such as laser cooling, atom manipulation, or optimization algorithms.

Experience working with both hardware and software teams.
