A leading tech recruitment company is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead AI and ML projects in Barcelona. You will manage the entire project lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a Master's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in delivering ML projects. Excellent communication skills in English are required, with fluency in Spanish being a plus. This role offers a hybrid work model.

• 4+ years delivering ML/data-driven software projects.
• 2+ years managing end-to-end engineering projects (LLM/NLP experience is a big plus).
• Strong technical understanding and ability to discuss tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences.
• English fluency (Spanish is a plus).

Overview

Technical Project Manager - Quantum + AI - hybrid in Barcelona / Madrid. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our AI & LLM Services team at a global leader in Quantum AI. You’ll work alongside world-class experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions for top-tier clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers & ML specialists to deliver AI/LLM solutions.
• Own the full project lifecycle: scoping, planning, execution, deployment, and delivery.
• Translate business needs into technical roadmaps for ML and LLM projects.
• Track milestones, allocate resources, and resolve risks/blockers proactively.
• Facilitate technical discussions and ensure scalable, high-quality AI solutions.
• Prepare and track KPIs, ensuring transparency for clients & leadership.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, best practices, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, or similar.
• 4+ years delivering ML/data-driven software projects.
• 2+ years managing end-to-end engineering projects (LLM/NLP experience is a big plus).
• Strong technical understanding (Python, Git, Docker) and ability to discuss tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences.
• English fluency (Spanish is a plus).
