Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager with a strong technical background in data science or AI. In this role you will leverage cutting‑edge quantum and AI technologies to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of machine learning, vision, or generative AI systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate these models into our products, contribute to research, and shape the future of AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead an international team of engineers to develop and deliver cutting‑edge solutions to our top‑tier clients.
• Define technical direction for complex projects, ensuring high‑quality solutions.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, developing comprehensive plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Identify and manage project risks, creating contingency plans to maintain momentum.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Monitor project performance and take proactive measures to ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Develop documentation, monitor and report project status, and assess documentation effectiveness.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
• Coordinate cross‑project initiatives with other project managers and leaders.
• Understand customer tactical goals and participate in developing and implementing business solutions.
• Contribute to technology strategy, providing insights to clients and stakeholders.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years of successful project management experience leading engineering teams in a technology‑driven company.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with data science, generative AI, deep learning (e.g., computer vision, LLMs), or software engineering in an industrial, non‑academic environment.
• Proven experience designing and implementing ML or AI systems, including RAG and agentic AI solutions, deployed in cloud‑based production environments.
• Proven experience with LLM models, including fine‑tuning, alignment, and model compression techniques.
• Excellent command of Python, Docker, and Git.
• Experience with GitHub/Gitlab workflows and functionalities.
• Solid understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration and maintain client relationships.
• Solid organizational and time‑management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Perfect command of Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related fields with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with deep learning model compression techniques and inference optimization engines (e.g., TensorRT, vLLM).
• Experience evaluating generative AI systems on real live data.
