Associate Consultant – Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, Renewable Energy

We are partnered with a fast‑growing, well‑funded deep‑tech company at the forefront of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, recognized globally as one of the most innovative AI organizations.

We’re looking for a Manager with deep technical expertise in Generative AI and LLMs to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of next‑generation AI systems in production environments. This is an opportunity to work on highly challenging projects, shape the strategic direction of GenAI initiatives, and contribute to pioneering research in the field.

The Role:

• Lead an international team of engineers to develop cutting‑edge Generative AI and quantum‑inspired solutions for top‑tier clients.
• Drive the technical direction of complex projects, ensuring the quality, scalability, and innovation of all technical approaches.
• Oversee project management from inception to delivery — defining scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Motivate and guide a diverse cross‑functional team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
• Ensure clear communication with stakeholders, senior management, and cross‑functional leaders on progress, milestones, and challenges.
• Contribute to technical strategy and thought leadership, helping shape client solutions and the broader AI technology roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including 2+ years in project or people management.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with deep learning techniques (e.g., computer vision, LLMs, or similar).
• Proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying Generative AI systems (including RAG and Agentic AI architectures).
• Expertise in fine‑tuning, aligning, and optimizing LLMs for specialized tasks, as well as experience with model pruning and compression techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, Docker, Git, and modern development workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and best practices for software development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and high‑performing teams.
• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant technical field with extensive experience in AI/ML or computational sciences.
• Experience with deep learning model compression and inference optimization engines (e.g., TensorRT, vLLM).
• Hands‑on experience in evaluating Generative AI systems on real‑world data.
