The role involves providing technical support to cinemas, performing server installations, and attending live events. Formación

Responsabilidades

  • Answering technical support calls and emails from cinemas.
  • Commissioning, installation, setup, and maintenance of servers and media players.
  • Performing integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files.
  • Monitoring the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency.
  • On-call availability for shifts during nights and weekends.

Position Details

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Role and Responsibilities
  • Answering technical support calls and emails from cinemas
  • Commissioning, installation, setup, and maintenance of servers and media players
  • Performing integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files
  • Performing diagnostic checks on servers and media players
  • Monitoring the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency
  • Upgrading the CDN to increase content delivery capacity
  • Content Management and data I/O activities
  • On-call availability for shifts during nights, weekends (approximately once per month), and during Live Events
Live Events Technical Support
  • Coordination with third-party tech partners and second-level support
  • Setting up and monitoring media players
  • Providing help desk support during events
  • Maintaining communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations
  • Implementing and maintaining quality protocols
  • Enhancing existing processes to improve internal capacity
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time-management, and:

  • Knowledge of network protocols
  • Teamwork skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload with a sense of urgency
  • Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools, and workflows
  • Experience in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
