Full-Time, Permanent Position
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Role and Responsibilities
  1. Answer technical support calls and emails from cinemas
  2. Commission, install, set up, and maintain servers and media players
  3. Perform integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files
  4. Conduct diagnostic checks on servers and media players
  5. Monitor the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency
  6. Upgrade the CDN to enhance content delivery capacity
  7. Manage content and handle data I/O activities
  8. Be available on call for night shifts, weekends (approximately once a month), and during Live Events
  9. Provide technical support during Live Events: coordinate with third-party tech partners, support second-level troubleshooting, set up and monitor media players, and assist at help desks during events
  10. Maintain communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
  11. Implement and uphold quality protocols
  12. Assist in increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to improve internal capacity
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management, and:

  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Teamwork skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload with a sense of urgency, work well under pressure, and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools, and workflows
  • Experience in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
