Description

Responsibilities
  • Answer technical support calls and emails from cinemas
  • Commission, install, set up, and maintain servers and media players
  • Perform integrity tests of Digital Cinema content files
  • Conduct diagnostic checks on servers and media players
  • Monitor the CDN to ensure readiness and efficiency
  • Upgrade the CDN to enhance content delivery capacity
  • Manage content and handle data I / O activities
  • Be available on call for night shifts, weekends (approximately once a month), and during Live Events
  • Provide technical support during Live Events: coordinate with third-party tech partners, support second-level troubleshooting, set up and monitor media players, and assist at help desks during events
  • Maintain communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth operations
  • Implement and uphold quality protocols
  • Assist in increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to improve internal capacity
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent time management, and:

  • Knowledge of Linux
  • Understanding of network protocols
  • Teamwork skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize workload with a sense of urgency, work well under pressure, and meet critical deadlines
  • Strong aptitude for learning new applications, tools, and workflows
  • Experience in audiovisual content and film distribution is desirable but not required
