Grupo Oesía seeks a Quality Assurance professional to define, implement, and maintain quality processes across defense‑sector projects. You will plan audits, manage certifications, and ensure regulatory compliance from design through validation.

You will oversee KPI monitoring, risk management, and continuous improvement, supporting engineering teams with process discipline and the use of DOORS, Jira and related tools.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences.
• Technical English at a minimum B2 level (spoken and written).
• At least 5 years of experience in the defense sector within electronics, electro‑optics, or telecommunications, in systems and software development.

Responsabilidades

• Define, implement, and maintain quality processes across projects.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Manage certification and recertification processes; ensure compliance with standards and models.
• Oversee compliance with industry regulations and standards (PECAL, EN9115, ISO 12207, DO-178, DO-254).
• Perform quality assurance through the systems and software development lifecycle.
• Participate in V&V of products, identify deviations, and promote corrective actions.
• Monitor quality metrics, prepare progress reports, and propose improvement plans.
• Manage quality risks and promote early defect detection to protect project outcomes.
• Support engineering teams in applying quality processes and best practices.
• Collaborate in project planning, monitoring, and reviews to meet quality, cost, and deadlines.
• Administer and support DOORS, Enterprise Architect, Jira, Trac, and testing tools.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ROLE?

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences.
• At least 5 years of experience in the defense sector within the electronics, electro-optics, or telecommunications industries, in activities related to systems and software development.
• Technical English at a minimum B2 (Intermediate) level (spoken and written).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Define, implement, and maintain systems and software quality processes in the organization’s projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Manage certification and recertification processes, ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and models.
• Oversee compliance with industry regulations and standards, including PECAL, EN9115, ISO 12207, DO-178, and DO-254.
• Conduct quality assurance activities throughout the systems and software development lifecycle.
• Participate in the verification and validation (V&V) of products, identifying deviations and promoting corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor quality indicators and metrics, prepare progress reports, and propose plans for continuous improvement.
• Manage quality risks and promote the early detection of defects to minimize their impact on projects.
• Support engineering and development teams in applying quality processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate in the planning, monitoring, and review of projects, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
• Administer and provide support for the use of engineering and management tools such as DOORS, Enterprise Architect, Jira, Trac, and testing and validation tools.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives
• Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation associated with projects, products, and processes.
• Coordinate the management of nonconformities, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
• Promote a culture of quality and excellence, ensuring the proper application of established procedures throughout the organization.
