Lead Developer - Leading Insurance brand - 60k-90k

Lead Full-stack Developer role (Java & Angular) for a leading Insurance firm located in Madrid. You will be part of their technology-driven company that partners with established global brands to create impactful digital insurance solutions, making it easier for consumers to access the insurance they need from trusted brands.

They operate through a cutting-edge digital platform, offering life and non-life insurance, and providing multi-channel customer experiences. With over 150 years of experience in risk knowledge and expertise in risk transfer solutions, you will be operating in an international team with plenty of room for career growth and progression.

You will :

• Participate in designing and developing new features and products that align with user needs and business goals.
• Work closely with team members, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to ensure a cohesive development process and product outcome.
• Focus on Java for backend development and Angular for frontend, also work in RESTful APIs.
• Develop your skills in cloud technology such as AWS and receive industry-leading training (no prior experience required).
• Report to the Software Engineering Manager.
• Manage junior team members and lead projects.

Conditions :

• Office based in central Madrid

Experience required :

• 5+ years experience in Full stack Software Engineering
• Strong proficiency with Java & Angular
• Experience with managing a team or a few developers would be ideal
• Leading projects and mentoring juniors is essential
