Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join our UK Digital Data & Cloud Practice. Our Digital Practice is expanding rapidly and offers opportunities for medium and long-term career growth. You will work on challenging large-scale transformational and migration projects within both public and private sectors.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Provide technical leadership within a team to deliver scalable, secure solutions following industry best practices (code quality, CI/CD, security).
• Work within an agile project management methodology.
• Take technical ownership of products or software solutions, including design, estimation, shaping, and user story creation.
• Document solutions (architecture, configuration, release, support).
• Collaborate with stakeholders/end users throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communicate technical designs clearly to stakeholders of varying technical abilities.
• Transfer knowledge effectively to team members and customers.
• Manage, coach, and develop junior team members and the wider community.
• Foster a positive working environment and facilitate collaboration and communication.

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Understanding of NFR / Non-Functional requirements and development with these in mind.
• Strong experience with TDD, unit and integration testing, and maintaining testing suites for CI/CD.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Packer, Docker.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience deploying solutions on AWS Cloud, with knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EC2 (AWS certifications preferred).
• Ability to lead stakeholder engagements and mentor team members.
