Job summary

Sysdig is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team working on Sysdig's runtime agent and related cloud security tooling. You will shape technical direction, hire and mentor engineers, and drive performance on critical customer-facing systems.

You will review designs, unblock the team, and stay hands-on with the most demanding engineering challenges, collaborating with product, detection, and security research to ensure safe, scalable features.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of engineers with hiring and performance management.
• Extensive background building low-level, performance-critical systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of OS internals, Linux, and instrumentation (eBPF/kernel modules).
• Experience with distributed systems and containers in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers, owning technical direction, hiring, growth and performance.
• Review designs and code, unblock engineers on hard problems, stay hands-on on demanding work.
• Partner with product, detection and security research to deliver new functionality without regressions.
