Formación

From Taylor Hopkinson, we are searching for a Technical Director to join a leading renewable energy company focused on the development, construction, and operation of onshore projects in Europe.

This person will be based in Madrid with occasional travel to the headquarters and project sites.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead the engineering team at a global level, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Review and coordinate engineering designs and oversee external companies involved.
  • Support the corporate strategy related to engineering and construction activities globally.
  • Provide technical data and specifications for RFPs and validate supplier technical proposals.
  • Elaborate monthly reports on performance indicators.
  • Interact with local authorities, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate project implementation.
  • Support the development and M&A teams during project acquisition or sale processes.
  • Collaborate with the local development team during permitting, preparing and supervising technical documentation, especially during grid connection and proposing project improvements.
  • Assess potential projects for acquisition or sale and support development stages.

Qualifications :

  • An MBA is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in engineering and managing high-performance teams.
  • Deep knowledge of solar PV and BESS technologies.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
