What You'll Do:
Criteo is seeking an experienced Senior Content Writer with technical writing expertise to develop and repurpose content of our Commerce GRID Help Center, including leading the revamp of client-facing technical documentation.
The ideal candidate should also have a strong understanding of the supply-side and media owner landscape, including expertise in SSPs, publisher monetization, demand activation, and related technologies.
This role requires someone who can effectively bridge technical expertise with user-focused communication, driving improvements in both content quality and user experience.
This role will also involve creating content for additional channels, such as in-platform support, user guides, and developer portal.
Content Development:
- Help Center: Create content designed to educate and enable customers to fully adopt the Criteo Commerce Grid platform, maximizing publisher revenue and optimizing inventory monetization strategies via how-to guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, video tutorials, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Technical documentation: Work with product, operations and engineering teams to document API capabilities, JavaScript implementations, data transfer processes, and integration requirements.
- Collaborate Globally Across Different Functions: interact regularly with global teams, including product, product marketing, product design, field, engineering, commercial, and strategic enablement teams, to gather insights and align content needs.
- Ensure content meets the highest standards by focusing on:
- Content Accuracy: Validate and control what goes into the Help Center and Developer Portal.
- Consistency: Maintain tone of voice and adhere to the technical writing framework across all Help Centers and Developer Portals.
- Client-Facing Approach: Craft content that is comprehensive, user-friendly, and tailored to client needs.
- Content Migration: Properly move and integrate existing content from other platforms into the Help Center and Developer Portal.
- Content Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update content to reflect platform updates and new feature releases. Work with the product team to proactively document changes, ensuring that users always have up-to-date resources.
- Harmonization: Improve content structure and user navigation, aligning it with other Help Centers and Developer Portals. This includes leveraging existing processes from the centralized team while addressing remaining gaps.
- Optimize for Search /Accessibility:
Apply search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance the online visibility of Help Center content in search results. Ensure the content is accessible, easy to navigate, and inclusive of users with different levels of technical expertise.
- Ensure Continuous Feedback and Ongoing Improvement
Gather feedback from internal stakeholders and external users to identify gaps in the content. Continuously improve content based on user behavior analytics.
Who You Are:- Track record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
- Experience in Ad Tech: Strong knowledge of the supply-side and media owners' landscape, including knowledge of SSPs, publisher monetization, demand activation, and related technologies.
- Be a self-starting team player with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Have the ability to research independently and proactively engage subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
- Demonstrate experience in coordinating across multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality, consistent content.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding APIs, integration workflows, and reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with documentation such as CMS platforms like Readme, Markdown, Confluence, or Git-based workflows as well as testing tools like Swagger, Postman.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly content.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
- Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with exceptional communication skills.
Nice to Have:- Experience with CMS Platforms: Proficiency in using tools like Stonly, Zendesk, and Contentful.
- Knowledge of ReadMe CMS and Markdown: Familiarity with ReadMe CMS and a solid understanding of Markdown syntax.
- Video Editing Expertise: Experience working with video editing tools such as Vyond, Camtasia, and Descript.
- Intercom Experience: Hands-on experience using Intercom for customer support and messaging.
- Hotjar Insights: familiarity with Hotjar for website analytics and understanding user behavior.
- Project Management Tools: Experience with project management platforms like ClickUp.
