Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Spain is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer I to review regulatory matters for gaming products and act as a technical conduit between regulators and lab testing, ensuring tests meet regulator expectations.
You will evaluate submissions, maintain jurisdictional profiles, and support cross-functional teams with regulatory questions. The role requires Portuguese fluency and onsite work in Barcelona with a multinational, customer‑facing environment.
The Technical Compliance Engineer provides technical consulting services to regulators, manufacturers, and Engineering staff. This position is responsible for the review and evaluation of technical matters related to gaming regulatory compliance. The team acts as a technical conduit between the regulators and laboratory testing or the “lab mechanics” that ensures tests are performed correctly, to the regulator’s satisfaction. Technical Compliance Engineers are advisors on technical gaming regulations both internally and externally.
