Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) in Spain is seeking a Technical Compliance Engineer I to review regulatory matters for gaming products and act as a technical conduit between regulators and lab testing, ensuring tests meet regulator expectations.

You will evaluate submissions, maintain jurisdictional profiles, and support cross-functional teams with regulatory questions. The role requires Portuguese fluency and onsite work in Barcelona with a multinational, customer‑facing environment.

Formación

• Must communicate fluently in Portuguese in all forms.
• Degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
• Formal training or demonstrated competency may substitute for education.
• Must possess strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to quickly assess issues, find solutions and analyze results.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service/support to regulators and suppliers.
• Conduct evaluations of submission files, identifying regulatory concerns and determinations.
• Handle Incoming Review / Critical modifications.
• Performing Outgoing Reviews / Technical Evaluations.
• Performing Issues/Bugs Evaluations.
• Development of Certification Report Disclosures.
• Evaluate documentation related to submissions/testing and understand gaming products.
• Maintain current regulations and jurisdictional profiles.
• Maintain familiarity with GLI Standard Series and Evolution and jurisdictional changes.
• Perform reviews from a regulatory compliance stance on new verification utilities & procedures.
• Develop/maintain internal procedural documentation, coversheets, forms and test scripts.
• Work with Engineering groups on regulatory questions and issues.
• Provide technical training/workshops to internal/external customers.
• Use JIRA to track current projects.
