The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing shaders, materials, and VFX while collaborating closely with artists and programmers to enhance overall production workflows. Formación

For our office in Mallorca, Spain we are looking for an Unreal Engine 5 Technical Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating, implementing and optimizing shaders, materials, VFX, lighting, and performance.

Established to develop and publish unique cutting-edge experiences that evolve around the ever-growing and evolving entertainment industry. Our offices are in the Netherlands and Spain. We are currently developing golf games.

What will you bring with you :

Knowledge in the following areas in game development :

  • Scripting / Tools Development
  • Shaders (GLSL / HLSL)
  • Rigging and Animation
  • Strong understanding of Graphic Rendering Pipeline for next-gen technologies
  • Background in 3D development software (e.g. 3DS Max, Maya, Blender)
  • Experience working with Unreal 5 Engine
  • Experience working with Source Control (Git, Perforce, Mercurial)
  • Strong Technical Background on the Art Production Process and Workflows
  • Programming Knowledge (C++, C#, Python, Maxscript) with strong Data Structures
  • Proven working experience (3+ years) as a technical artist
  • Understanding of project applications, preferably Jira
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • A good mood every day

Duties

What will you be doing :

  • Setting up and maintaining production pipelines and workflow
  • Develop tools that will be used by the artists to improve and assist their work in production
  • Work with our artists and programmers to ensure that all the assets meet the technical requirements
  • Gatekeeper of Tech Art constraints, pushing for top quality visuals
  • Create materials, shaders, and VFX
  • Manage lighting and post-processing
  • Maintain performance and handling rendering optimization.
