Descripción del empleo

About PVFARM
PVFARM’s platform was built by engineers, for utility-scale solar developers, designers, engineers, consultants, and EPCs. What began as an internal passion project to streamline early-stage design has evolved into the most advanced solution for exploring “what-if” scenarios and delivering precise layouts in seconds.

Role Overview

As a Technical Account Manager at PVFARM, you will own the end-to-end technical relationship with a portfolio of European customers. You’ll act as a Sales Engineer, leading demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical negotiations while also driving onboarding, adoption, and long-term success by providing technical support to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Sales Engineering & Deal Support: Lead interactive software demos and proof-of-concept projects, showcasing PVFARM’s capabilities to technical and executive stakeholders. Develop custom POCs that align with each prospect’s unique site, design, and workflow requirements. Craft technical proposals, ROI analyses, and solution architectures in collaboration with Sales.
  • Customer Onboarding & Enablement: Own the “co-pilot” phase: design and deliver tailored training sessions to get customers up and running quickly. Create best-practice guides, video tutorials, and hands-on workshops to embed PVFARM into customers’ processes.
  • Technical Support & Continuous Improvement: Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers. Rapidly triage and resolve customer issues with precision—providing thorough context and clear explanations of PVFARM’s architecture. Diagnose and resolve complex issues by collaborating with Engineering and Product teams. Capture and prioritize feature requests and bug reports, ensuring customer needs drive our product roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to develop webinars, case studies, and white papers that highlight customer success and best practices. Work with Product and Engineering to influence enhancements that address regional market requirements and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, electrical, renewable energy), Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in PV system design or engineering within the renewable-energy sector with an EPC, IPP, or Engineering firm OR similar Utility scale PV Design SaaS company.
  • Hands-on familiarity with utility-scale solar design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Helioscope, Rated Power, PVSyst, PVCase).
  • Solid understanding of electrical and civil engineering concepts as they apply to PV system design.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues within PVFARM.
  • Fluent in English (required). Proficiency in Spanish, French, or German (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
Personal Attributes
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, able to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with an ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure.
  • Customer-obsessed attitude and a drive to build long-lasting partnerships.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% across Europe for on-site workshops, conferences, and customer engagements.
  • Able to be productive in a remote-first company with minimal supervision.
Nice-to-Have
  • Pre-sales or technical sales experience specifically within the solar or renewable energy sector.
  • Familiarity with GIS, energy modeling, or related analytical tools.
  • Ability to craft financial models and ROI analyses for solar projects.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health benefits and pension plan.
  • Fully remote culture.
  • Choice of laptop and equipment allowance.
  • Career growth in a fast-scaling, mission-driven startup.
