Job summary

Amaris Consulting seeks a Senior Technical Release Manager to coordinate end-to-end release activities across complex digital commerce applications. You will work with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Product teams to ensure smooth deployments from integration to production.

• Experience with high-availability digital commerce platforms.
• Fluent English and excellent communication.

• Coordinate end-to-end release activities from planning to production deployment.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Product teams.
• Define release calendars, deployment windows, release scope, Go/No-Go processes, hotfixes, and exception releases.
• Coordinate deployments and ensure readiness, execution, validation, and post-deployment support across environments.
• Track release risks, dependencies, and KPIs; provide deployment summaries.
• Lead post-release reviews and drive continuous improvement and automation across release processes.

You will play a key role in coordinating end-to-end release activities, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments from integration through production while collaborating with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Product teams.

• 7–10 years of experience in IT, with strong experience in Release Management, Technical Project Management, or Software Delivery.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end software releases and production deployments in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, deployment processes, and release automation.
• Experience with Git-based branching strategies, release branches, code merges, and environment synchronization.
• Knowledge of software quality processes, including functional, integration, and regression testing, defect management, and quality gates.
• Experience with tools such as SonarQube and familiarity with application security practices such as SAST, SCA, and DAST.
• Good understanding of technical infrastructure activities such as OS patching, application server upgrades, certificate renewals, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams and manage multiple stakeholders, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience working with high-availability digital, eCommerce, retail, or other business-critical platforms is highly valued.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

• Define and manage release calendars, deployment windows, release scope, Go/No-Go processes, hotfixes, and exception releases.
• Coordinate deployments and ensure readiness, execution, validation, and post-deployment support across different environments.
• Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, Operations, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor and support CI/CD pipelines, coordinating the resolution of issues that could impact release timelines.
• Manage release branches, code alignment, merges, and synchronization across environments.
• Monitor release quality through defect backlogs, testing results, SonarQube metrics, code coverage, and defined quality gates.
• Coordinate security validation and vulnerability remediation, ensuring security requirements are met before production releases.
• Govern hotfixes and emergency deployments, minimizing business impact and operational risk.
• Track release risks, dependencies, KPIs, and readiness indicators while providing clear status reports and deployment summaries.
• Lead post-release reviews and drive continuous improvement and automation across release and deployment processes.
