Job Description

We are working with a leading Spanish airline seeking to expand our team with a new Data Product Owner. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual passionate about cutting-edge technologies and data management. As the Data Tech Product Owner, you will research, identify, and implement data-driven solutions to transform the airline industry.

Responsibilities :

1. Research and stay updated on data technologies: identify how these technologies can be utilized to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance customer experiences.
2. Identify opportunities and use cases for these technologies: collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and challenges. Support the business in leveraging data and analytics for growth.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to implement integrated solutions: work closely with development teams, create user stories in Jira, track performance, seek improvements in agile workflows, and ensure efficient data product development. Lead system integrations, demonstrate their value, and ensure designs meet cybersecurity, robustness, scalability, and cost standards.
4. Ensure data quality and robustness in system integrations: understand your data thoroughly, secure data governance, track product OKRs, evaluate success, and suggest improvements.
5. Communicate with key stakeholders: ensure data solutions meet their needs and deliver business value. Keep them informed about progress, findings, and opportunities.
6. Act as a technical reference: understand system architecture, propose streamlined integrations, and demonstrate expertise to identify optimal pathways for seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in IT and innovation.
• Strong understanding of current data technology trends.
• Experience with AWS native technologies.
• Prior development and SQL experience.
• Knowledge of technology product delivery standards, frameworks, and methodologies.
• JIRA and Scrum Master experience.
• Industry knowledge.
• Understanding and experience with AI and GenAI.
• SAFe certification.

Skills :

• Senior IT leadership experience in a complex global organization with a proven track record of delivering significant outcomes through agile product teams.
• Strong business partnering skills, working effectively with senior stakeholders and third-party partners.
• Influential leadership with the ability to persuade and influence internally and externally.
