A skilled Technical Consultant is needed to work with our international team and lead the integration of the latest Salesforce Order Management System features.
This individual will provide strategic technical guidance, create architecture visions, and manage development plans to drive enterprise transformation. They will collaborate with experts to define solutions and advise on best practices, aligning processes with OMS products.
About the Role :
- Domain knowledge in retail / supply chain spheres is required.
- Staying up-to-date with the newest features of the OMS is essential while ensuring that released features work as advertised.
- Understanding and analyzing clients' existing technology landscapes is necessary.
- Providing technical guidance to project delivery teams, product engineering teams, and clients is key.
- Taking ownership of technical escalations within projects and having overall ownership of all technical aspects through client relationships is crucial.
- Crafting architecture visions and roadmaps for driving clients' enterprise transformations is vital.
- Creating detailed architectures with recommendations for integrations, API / micro-services enablement, cloud migration, etc., is necessary.
- Mentoring and guiding project delivery and engineering resources is essential.
- Creating interface documents and mappings to ensure OMS integration is correct.
- Managing software development plans with a focus on quality and delivery efficiency.
- Participating in design reviews with clients, project delivery teams, and project engineering teams.
- Managing development plans regarding skills, resources, and training required for smooth project deliveries.
- Conducting workshops with customer teams to gather requirements, define end-to-end solutions, and implementation architectures.
- In the implementation phase, serving as a key member of solution delivery teams, facilitating requirements / design phases by collaborating with technical experts to develop solution and functional design documents enabling final solutions.
- Advising customers on supply chain best practices and aligning customer processes closely with OMS products with minimal customization.
Requirements :
- Analyzing business requirements and determining potential solutions by testing them for technical and business compatibility.
- Providing guidance and articulating improvements on current business processes.
- Presenting multiple alternatives by offering creative and different approaches in solving business needs.
- Performing demonstrations of solutions to clients.
- Participating in complete pre-sales and implementation processes by driving projects from design through deployment phases.
- Developing project feasibility reports and presenting solutions to customers.
- Offering support in prioritizing features, defining project scope, and identifying risks.
- Previous experience working with Salesforce Order Management System (either platform or integrations) is required.
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in technical consultant or lead architect roles of Supply Chain System implementations or system integrations.
- Demonstrated experience working in retail industry, with exposure to Order Management Systems, order fulfillment, and order management.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, and C++ and Database concepts.
- Strong plus any experience with Salesforce platform – Service Cloud and / or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English.
