Job summary

Schwarz Digits in Madrid is seeking a Squad Tech Lead to drive the design system and mobile platform. You will guide cross‑platform technical decisions, coach a multidisciplinary team, and ensure timely releases with strong accessibility considerations.

You will own sprint delivery, manage DevOps for mobile releases, and align with product goals while maintaining high engineering standards.

Qualifications

3+ years direct people management of software engineering teams.
Ability to foster cooperation, motivate team members, and lead through influence.
Proven capability to balance business needs, technical debt and trade-offs in complex environments.
Experience across frontend and mobile technologies (React, React Native, Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android).
Clear understanding of mobile or complex software lifecycles, release automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Make critical technical decisions for our cross-platform design system while balancing technical debt and UX.
Coach and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team with 1-on-1s and career development plans.
Drive squad velocity, monitor sprint KPIs, and balance feature delivery with technical debt with the Product Owner.
Embed web and native accessibility standards (WCAG, iOS/Android) into core component design.
Oversee mobile release lifecycles, store submissions, and CI/CD pipelines.
