Q-Tech is seeking a Squad Tech Lead to guide a cross-functional team focused on a Design System and mobile apps (iOS/Android/React Native). This hybrid role blends engineering management with technical leadership to drive big-picture decisions and people growth.

You will lead a senior team, balance velocity with quality, ensure accessibility, and manage release pipelines. Fluent English and Spanish are required; remote-friendly with 1–2 days in office.

Formación

• 3+ years directly managing software engineering teams.
• Solid technical judgment across frontend/mobile technologies (React, React Native, Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android).
• Proven experience making technical decisions in complex environments with no single clear-cut answer.
• Strong communication and ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Own critical technical decisions for a cross-platform design system, balancing debt, UX and developer experience.
• Manage, coach and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team with regular feedback.
• Drive squad delivery alongside the Product Owner, balancing velocity, quality and business goals.
• Embed accessibility standards (WCAG, native iOS/Android) into component design.
• Oversee mobile release lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Fastlane).

At Q-Tech, we are looking for a Squad Tech Lead on behalf of one of our clients, a leading European tech-driven retail company with millions of active users and an international footprint, to lead a team focused on Design System and mobile applications (iOS/Android/React Native).

We're looking for a hybrid profile between engineering manager and tech lead: someone focused on the big picture, decision-making and people growth rather than hands-on low-level coding, since the team already includes very senior technical profiles.

Your responsibilities:

• Own critical technical decisions for a cross-platform design system, helping the team evaluate trade-offs and balance technical debt against user and developer experience.

• Manage, coach and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team (ongoing feedback, 1-on-1s, development plans).

• Drive squad delivery alongside the Product Owner, balancing velocity, quality and business alignment.

• Embed accessibility standards (WCAG, native iOS/Android frameworks) into component design.

• Oversee mobile release lifecycles and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Fastlane).

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years directly managing software engineering teams, with a genuine ability to lead through influence.

• Solid technical judgment across frontend/mobile technologies (React, React Native, Swift/iOS, Kotlin/Android).

• Proven experience making technical decisions in complex environments with no single clear-cut answer.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and business stakeholders.

• Fluent English and Spanish.

Nice to have:

• Practical experience with web/mobile accessibility standards (WCAG, VoiceOver, TalkBack).

• Experience building or maintaining design system component libraries.

• Experience in large, multi-team or international/Enterprise environments.
