Job summary

T-Innova in Spain is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to own delivery, team leadership and the adoption of agentic development using AI coding agents. You will guide the engineering stack, architecture and product integration across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring steady releases and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of professional software development, including two years leading engineers.
• Demonstrable agentic development: ship production code with AI coding agents as a normal workflow.
• Hands-on experience building AI features into a real product with LLM APIs.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to explain trade-offs to non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow the engineering team, including hiring and fostering ownership of quality.
• Move to agentic development by working with specifications, agent-sized tasks, review and tests daily.
• Collaborate with product, services and MD to align technical decisions with business priorities.
• Turn use cases into specifications and tested software end-to-end with AI coding agents.
• Shape the technical design: data model, multi-tenant SaaS, APIs, integrations and agentic features.
• Build AI into the product for clients: assistants, smart search, forecasting and automation with data security.
• Maintain health of the live platform: VB6/.NET/SQL Server, on-prem environments; reduce maintenance burden.
• Plan migrations to the new product without disrupting clients.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD, IaC and observability; set release standards.
