Team Leader Software - Location: MUES02

We are seeking a Team Leader Software for our location MUES02 to lead the PLC software team responsible for developing software across various packaging machine technologies. This role focuses on team development, role organization, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop the PLC software team to meet quality, architecture, and tool standards.
2. Develop a technology network to incorporate best practices from the group and coordinate with headquarters specialists.
3. Innovate and define the software technology strategy for the company.
4. Build the team to ensure timely and quality delivery of customer projects and troubleshooting.

Detailed Objectives:

1. Provide technical expertise to resolve team challenges and ensure quality delivery.
2. Assist in project planning, execution, and adjustments.
3. Promote the importance of machine testing, data collection, and analysis.
4. Support problem analysis from customer reports and testing.
5. Implement best practices in PLC programming, including structured text and object-oriented approaches.
6. Report weekly to management and participate in technical meetings.
7. Contribute to defining the software scope and architecture for R&D projects.

Candidate Profile:

1. University degree in automation engineering or related field.
2. Strong technical background in PLC software development or similar.
3. Proficient in English and Spanish; German is a plus.
4. Experience in the food industry with packaging and processing equipment.
5. Knowledge of structured text, object-oriented programming, and software development tools, including version control.
6. Proficient in MS Office, SAP, C4C, and related applications.
7. Leadership experience in complex, multinational environments.
8. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
9. Willingness to travel internationally to headquarters and key installations, primarily for R&D purposes.
