How will you make an impact in this role?

Provide the right level of leadership support and strategic direction to team members to meet account development team (2 People), early engagement (3 people), and sales (5 people) team goals and business objectives, while enabling the future growth plans of the business units the team works with. As a team leader, you will support both your employees and your customers, handle different realities simultaneously, lead change by example, and seek opportunities for improvement. This is just part of what you will do in this position:

  • Lead a team of sales professionals with a focus on driving high employee engagement and a strong sales culture.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to drive business and grow American Express cardholder spending volume, identify opportunities, foster collaboration, and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Analyze focus, understand all metrics and trends, and manage teams based on data insights.
  • Establish and execute the team's acquisition growth strategy, ensuring all enablers are in place to support productivity and growth, such as lead generation, opportunity management, B2B focus, market trend awareness, risk processes, and value proposition.
  • Monitor individual and team performance against key metrics, provide training, and implement actions to improve results.
  • Manage talent, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
  • Lead end-to-end change management activities to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders within the local team and the wider organization in a rapidly evolving environment.

  • Experience in sales and team management.
