Job summary

Making Science is seeking a Salesforce Core Team Lead to guide functional and technical consultants on Salesforce implementations across Retail, Real Estate, Banking, Energy, and Consumer Goods sectors. You will lead client engagements, shape automation designs, and drive adoption of AI features within Salesforce.

You will mentor junior and mid-level staff, manage project delivery, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–9 years of demonstrable Salesforce consulting experience.
• At least 1 year leading teams (2+ years valued).
• Salesforce Administrator certification plus Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant certification.

We are looking for a Salesforce Core Team Lead with solid functional and technical experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, capable of leading teams and consulting projects for clients in sectors such as Retail, Real Estate, Banking, Energy, or Consumer Goods. In this role, you will not only be the functional point of reference for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud projects but also the key figure in managing the team, client relationships, and driving the adoption of generative AI solutions within Salesforce (Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, Prompt Builder).

What we’d like you to do

• Team Leadership: Lead teams of functional and technical consultants on Salesforce implementation projects, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Functional Reference: Act as the functional point of reference for Sales Cloud and Service Cloud projects, designing and overseeing automations (Flow, Process Builder, Apex triggers when applicable).
• Client and Project Delivery Management: Manage the client relationship, including requirements gathering, solution presentation, and tracking of deliverables.
• Planning and Quality: Coordinate the planning, estimations, and quality of the team's deliveries.
• AI Innovation: Drive the adoption of generative AI solutions within Salesforce (Agentforce, Einstein Copilot, Prompt Builder), providing a strategic vision on the evolution of autonomous agents, as well as participating in pre-sales proposals.
• Mentoring: Mentor and develop the junior/mid-level talent on the team.

What we’d like you to bring

• Experience: A minimum of 6-9 years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce consulting, with at least 1 year leading teams (2+ years is highly valued).
• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator + at least one of the following: Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant.
• Core Salesforce: Solid functional knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Automations: Proficiency in Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
• Data and Security Model: Strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model (standard/custom objects, relationships) and security model (profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules).
• Reporting: Experience designing reports and dashboards for business monitoring.
• Project Management: Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and release management tools (sandboxes, change sets, or similar).
• Technical Vision: Ability to discuss architecture decisions (Apex, LWC, integrations) with development profiles, although the role is not hands‑on coding.
• Client Management: Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, workshops, and proposal presentations.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in at least one of the following sectors: Retail, Real Estate, Banking, Energy, or Consumer Goods.
• Leadership: Experience in people management, task delegation, and performance tracking.
• Languages: High level of Spanish and English (for international projects).

Desirable Requirements (Bonus Points):

• Previous experience as an Agentforce Team Lead or similar.
• Experience with Prompt Builder and designing prompts for AI agents.
• Additional certifications: Data Cloud Consultant, Agentforce Specialist, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst.
• Previous experience in top-tier consulting firms (Big Four, Accenture, etc.).
• Experience in Apex, LWC, or integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Middleware like MuleSoft).
