Job Description:

We are seeking a Team Lead Platform Operations to join the Product Security division (PCERT) within the Global Cybersecurity team. This role focuses on maintaining and optimizing on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure to support critical security applications and services. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers to manage deployments, enhance system reliability, automate platform operations, and enforce best practices in cybersecurity, scalability, and compliance.

You’ll make an impact by:

1. Lead and mentor a team of engineers within the Product Security domain, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
2. Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting and performance of hybrid infrastructure (on-premise and cloud), ensuring the availability requirements of the Product Security services.
3. Manage deployments, updates, and configurations across multiple environments to ensure seamless and secure operations.
4. Monitor and respond to infrastructure alerts and security incidents, improving system resilience and reliability.
5. Implement security hardening measures for endpoints, workloads, and network infrastructure, aligned with industry best practices.
6. Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
7. Support security teams and developers in debugging applications and optimizing system performance.
8. Maintain detailed documentation for deployments, configurations, security controls, and operational processes.

This is how you’ll win us over:

1. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
2. Proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
3. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
4. Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
6. Deep knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
7. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk, Datadog.
8. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
9. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
10. Solid understanding of networking concepts, segmentation, load balancers, and firewalls.
11. Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) principles and tools.
12. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have:

1. Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCSK) are a strong plus.
