The British College of Gavà is seeking to appoint a Teacher Assistant to join us in August 2025 on a permanent term and
full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new purpose built, expanding school with exceptional
facilities.

Around 600 students between the ages of 3 and 18 years are registered here. We firmly believe in a holistic, balanced and

Delivering tailored one-to-one or small group activities.
Supporting pupil engagement, learning, and behaviour.
Assisting with social, emotional, and safeguarding concerns.
Guiding pupil progress, including phonics and reading support.
Carrying out interest-led and free-flow activities.
Recording observations (e.g., WOW moments) and providing feedback to teachers.
Handling classroom prep, resource setup, and admin tasks.
Providing pastoral care, including attending to accidents or emotional distress.
Creating displays and supporting classroom environments.
Helping during exams, school trips, and covering staff absences.
Contributing to school events (e.g., fairs) and being adaptable to timetable changes.
Assisting with lunchtime and break duties.
Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability.
Effective planning, assessment, and classroom management.
Experience with children aged 3–10.
Confident with ICT.
High School Diploma and right to work.
Committed, organized, and passionate about education.
University degree in a relevant subject.
Familiarity with teaching standards.
Strong adaptability and continuous improvement mindset.
