ROLE SUMMARY:

In anticipation of potential future needs, King’s College School Soto de Viñuelas, in Madrid, is seeking to receive applications for comitted and enthusiast Teachers of Mathematics. We are always looking for skilled educators to continue delivering excellence in Mathematics across key stages.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Mathematics to students across a range of key stages, including Further Maths A-Level and Higher Level IB.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
• Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations and assessments.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathematics department and curriculum.
• Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
• Engage in school life, including co-curricular and enrichment activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE level is essential.
• The ability to teach IB Standard and Higher Level and/or A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of international curricula and academic expectations.
• A collaborative and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.
• A passion for developing students’ confidence and skills in Mathematics.
