JC Aircraft Maintenance (JCAM) is one of Ryanair's Engineering company providers supporting in both Line and Heavy Maintenance in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and France (SPMF) since 2010.

We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager

Join a team of highly skilled staff with an essential role in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world's largest and most successful airlines.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Advise the General Manager and supervisors on all safety, health, and welfare matters to ensure statutory compliance.
  2. Prepare assessments of occupational risks and suggest control measures.
  3. Coordinate business activities related to health and safety.
  4. Promote adherence to current regulations on Occupational Risk Prevention, ensuring compliance and dissemination.
  5. Implement the company's occupational risk prevention plan.
  6. Manage training courses to improve employee safety performance.
  7. Investigate all accidents and near-miss incidents, recording findings appropriately.
  8. Manage Employee Protective Equipment (EPI) programs.
  9. Collaborate with Labour Inspections related to Health & Safety, including representing the company during inspections.
  10. Stay updated with legislative changes and inform management of relevant new laws.
  11. Oversee medical checks for employees.
Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and proactively.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Health & Safety FP certification (highly recommended).
  • Proficiency in English (medium to high level).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Knowledge of emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Expertise in personal protective equipment.
  • Working knowledge of H&S legislation.
  • Experience in international or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste management.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings.
