Tax specialist

For our office in Madrid, Aquila Capital is seeking a Tax Specialist (f / m / d).

Your Responsibilities

1. Support in the preparation and review of direct and indirect tax compliance (CIT, VAT, withholding taxes, stamp duty, business activity tax, etc.) for monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
2. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations, including preparation of CIT provisions, and support with tax audits and communications with Tax Authorities.
3. Prepare writs to be submitted before the Tax Authorities.
4. Assist in analyzing tax topics related to Aquila Group's corporate entities and advise teams within the organization to ensure proper tax risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

1. Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration.
2. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or in a tax advisory firm / Big4.
3. Knowledge of the EU tax environment; knowledge of the German tax environment is a plus.
4. Advanced written and spoken English skills.
5. Knowledge of German is a plus.
