The purpose of this advisory body is to serve as a resource and liaison to the Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the Community. The body reviews and comments on discretionary land use, zoning applications, and community plan amendments within the Tamalpais Planning Area, which includes Tamalpais Valley, Homestead Valley, Almonte, Muir Woods Park, and Tennessee Valley.
Membership Requirements
Terms and Number of Members
Members serve 3-year, staggered terms. The body consists of five members.
Stipend Information
Starting October 1, 2022, stipends are available for members who self-certify income below the County's self-sufficiency standard. For details and application, visit the Board Stipends Program Webpage.
Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. For more information, call 473-6269.
