Formación

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to drive continuous improvement and guarantee compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Quality Planning: Define and implement quality plans for new projects, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.
  • APQP & PPAP Management: Lead the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and manage the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to ensure flawless project launches.
  • Customer Interface: Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding quality issues, audits, and project validation.
  • Problem-Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Lead problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, and Ishikawa to resolve quality issues.
  • Process Validation: Oversee the validation of manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet both internal and external quality requirements.
  • Supplier Quality Assurance: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality compliance of purchased components and raw materials.
  • Documentation & Standards Compliance: Maintain and update quality documentation, ensuring adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance overall product quality.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are in place to prevent potential quality issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Experience with plastic injection molding processes and automotive component manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and Pareto Analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
