A leading data center hosting provider in Malaga is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, automate, and secure OpenStack infrastructure. Responsibilities include maintaining scalable systems using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes while ensuring high availability and performance. Ideal candidates will have robust experience in cloud-native tooling and strong Linux administration skills. Relocation support is available for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with OpenStack.
• Experience in automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Ability to manage containerized environments on Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure.

• Monitor, log, and secure cloud infrastructure.

Senior Platform Engineer - Malaga

Opportunity to join a fast-growing data center hosting provider building a fully automated OpenStack cloud infrastructure, with a mission to deliver industry-first, end-to-end data sovereignty solutions.

As part of their expanding DevOps team, they’re searching for an experienced Platform Engineer to take ownership of designing, automating, and securing their global cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability and scalability across their OpenStack environments.

In this role, you’ll build and maintain scalable OpenStack infrastructure, automate systems with Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps principles, and drive containerised workloads using Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.

You’ll also take responsibility for monitoring, logging, and cloud security, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical services. Relocation support can be provided for candidates with an existing right to work in the EU. Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable OpenStack infrastructure

Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps principles

Manage containerised environments on Kubernetes using Helm and ArgoCD

Set up and optimise Datadog monitoring systems

Hands-on experience with OpenStack

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and / or Ansible

Scripting skills in Python

Strong Linux system administration

Cloud-native tooling experience (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD)

Monitoring and logging setup (Datadog, Elastic Stack)
