Q-tech, in partnership with a fast-growing European tech company disrupting the insurance industry through innovation, design, and data, is expanding its backend team. They are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to play a key technical role in one of their most strategic initiatives.

Tech Stack & Focus

• Backend development in PHP (latest versions) with Symfony
• Microservices architecture
• Testing, TDD, and clean code best practices
• Migration from legacy systems to modern architectures
• Cloud-based environments

Multicultural Environment

The team is composed of native English, Spanish, and Italian speakers.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in PHP, with solid Symfony background
• Strong knowledge of microservices and scalable backend systems
• Hands-on experience with TDD and testing strategies
• Previous experience in legacy system migrations is a strong plus
• Solid understanding of cloud services (preferably AWS)
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (C1 minimum)
• Based in Spain (remote within the country)
