Skydance Media in Madrid is seeking a mid-level Systems Administrator to join our infrastructure team. You will deploy, maintain, and scale our on-premises and cloud-based services while embracing automation and IaC practices to improve reliability across studios.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, scripting, and container technologies, plus a willingness to collaborate across departments to support production and IP delivery in our animation-focused

Formación

• 1–3 years in IT with large-scale enterprise server experience.
• Hands-on deployment and support of enterprise servers.
• Experience with virtualization and public cloud.
• Scripting in Python or Bash; IaC with Ansible/Terraform.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions is a plus.
• Experience in the 3D animation sector is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Installing, configuring, and managing servers and services (cloud and on‑prem).
• Evaluating and applying software releases, upgrades and patches.
• Maintaining system configurations for data and integrity.
• Ensuring reliable, scalable infrastructure using code-based approaches.

• Working with InfoSec on vulnerability management.
• Performing backups and recovery operations.
• Documenting and automating daily tasks.
• Participating in large system planning and 3rd‑level support.

As a mid Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the company’s infrastructure services, systems and network.

Responsabilities

• Installing, configuring and managing servers and services both cloud and on-premises.
• Installing and evaluating new software releases, system upgrades and patches.
• Maintaining and monitoring system configuration to ensure data and configuration integrity.
• Operating with the objective of having a reliable, efficient and scalable infrastructures using configuration as code methodologies.
• Collaborating across departments to evolve systems standards studio-wide.
• Collaborating with the InfoSec team on the vulnerability management.
• Performing system backups and recovery.
• Documenting and automating daily tasks.
• Participating in large system and subsystem planning.
• 3rd level of support functions, including problem isolation and resolution.
• Keeping up on current methodologies and on technology trends and tools that best suit the production and the company.
• Collaborates with other team members, when necessary.
• Follows the Supervisor’s and Lead´s guidance.

Requisitions

• 1-3 years of professional experience in IT departments.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying, and supporting large-scale enterprise server solutions. · Virtualization

• Process automation and deployment
• Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions
• Scripting Python/bash
• Ansible/Terraform
• Basic networking knowledge · Experience with containers (docker / kubernetes).
• Experience with high availability systems.
• Experience in process virtualization and deployment.
• Experience in the 3D animation sector
• Medium-high English level required.
• Spanish desirable.
