Project Description

At the Telco Hub in Madrid, we merge IT and Telco, building and scaling Telco as a Platform (TaaP) on our proprietary layered cloud. Our cross-country and cross-functional squads deliver cutting-edge services to Europe’s valued Operator. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire lifecycle management for CSA Platform within an operational team
• Implementation and operation of virtualized andKubernetes-based environments
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of system malfunctions
• Integration and optimization of application-specific counters into new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring
• Rollout management throughout the application lifecycle based on ITIL/corporate processes (Incident/Problem/Change)
• Integrate new services including monitoring and alarm integration/adaptation of existing service alarming and monitoring
• Future migration of the CSA platforms to new cloud platforms
• Streamline processes, enhance software and system performance, and apply innovative technologies as part of the operations team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable end-to-end system functionality
• Willingness to perform tasks outside regular hours during the night (max 2/week) and participate in on-call duty (7x24) (max 2/week)

Qualifications

Mandatory skills:

• Know-how in troubleshooting IPv4/IPv6 networks and protocols such as TCP, UDP, Radius, HTTP and tracing tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems and virtualization or containerized solutions, including security patch management
• Fundamental know-how in DevOps CI/CD tools (GitLab, Artifactory, Helm, Flux, etc.) and monitoring systems like Grafana, Promtail, Prometheus
• Experience in operation/integration of REST-based APIs and modern security protocols
• Basic programming and scripting knowledge (Ansible, Bash, Python)
• Good English skills (written and spoken); basic German skills are advantageous

Optional skills:

• Strong analytical skills with high quality awareness
• Experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation

Being on-call for approximately 6 weeks per year and rarely performing changes outside regular working hours.
