Are you passionate about designing deep and engaging progression systems? Do you have expert insight into player development loops and interlocking game mechanics? Join our development team as a System Designer and shape the core progression and system mechanics of our upcoming Anime ARPG!

Your Responsibilities
  • Design character progression curves, skill unlock trees, and resource economies
  • Design interlocking systems such as companion synergies, gear customization, and crafting mechanics
  • Embed progression milestones within story arcs and character bond mechanics
  • Collaborate with Level Designers to craft engaging puzzles and traps and define flow rules for room-based, procedural dungeons
  • Partner with Narrative Designers to integrate story-driven mechanics that enhance player engagement
  • Design varied and engaging game modes that keep players immersed and feel unique
  • Design multiphase boss encounters, integrating strategic depth and unique attack patterns
  • Track KPIs and iterate based on telemetry and tester/player feedback
  • Balance gameplay systems to deliver a fair, challenging, and engaging experience
  • Create comprehensive and well-structured design documentation that clearly communicates combat mechanics and gameplay flow
What We’re Looking For
  • Practical experience in System Design of RPGs
  • Proven experience shipping deep progression and interconnected systems
  • Proficiency in prototyping in Unreal (Blueprints)
  • Strong understanding of progression, economies, and balancing methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Bonus Skills
  • Passion for anime aesthetics and story-rich games
  • Educational background in game design or related field
  • Familiarity with gacha or live-service event systems
